Our Vision
Exaltation - Evangelism - Edification - Equipping - Employing - Exporting
Emmanuel Church is a Protestant, Evangelical, Reformed and Episcopalian congregation in the Edenvale/Modderfontein area of the Gauteng Province and as such, is a Constituent Church member of the "Church of England in South Africa," (CESA).
Emmanuel Church has a vision for the renewal of peoples hearts, the church and the community at large. This is achieved by the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
To this end we have six core values:
| EXALTATION… | to promote true worship of God in all of life. |
| EVANGELISM… | to speak that others may be persuaded with God's help to put their hope and trust in Christ. |
| EDIFICATION… | to preach God's Word and learn to handle it correctly understanding that this is the primary way in which we are edified and built up in the faith. |
| EQUIPPING… | to train disciples for effective service in the church, the community and in the world. |
| EMPLOYING… | to encourage team ministry, comprising of volunteer and full-time paid staff. |
| EXPORTING… | to be Christians with a global vision stretching beyond the borders of our church, denomination and land, not limited to missionary work but permeating all of society. |
