2017 1st quarter

On Sundays we are still meeting at 9:15AM starting on Sunday 1 January 2017 A.D.

Here are a few dates for the first quarter of 2017:

  • 9 January – Pre-School Refresher course
  • 11 January -Pre-School opens
  • 10-12 January – Three days of prayer
  • 18 January – Bible Studies Commence
  • 25 February – ‘Raising children in the 21st Century’ day seminar
  • 5 March – First new service, new service times to be announced

2016 3rd quarter

Sunday morning sermon series: Ephesians – “The most blessed of all”

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Wednesday evening Bible study: 1 Peter
1 PeterThe book of 1st Peter is a General Epistle (Apostolic Letter). It was written to all believers in general. The author is Peter who wrote it about 60 A.D. The key personalities are the Apostle Peter, Silas, and Mark. Its purpose was to encourage suffering Christians and to call them to personal holiness; Peter’s central focus is persecution.

Sunday evening study: We are continuing with the Explore the Bible course. This course is by the George Whitefield College and provides an overview of the whole Bible. You can read more about it a the George Whitefield College web site.

Sunday evening youth study: Study meeting for children 12+.

Sunday morning sermon series: Matthew 6: The Lord’s prayer

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

2016 First Quarter

Sunday morning sermon series: Genesis Chapters 1 to 11: Man’s Greatest Need.
Genesis
Genesis is the title given to the first book of Moses by its Greek translators. The word Genesis means “origin” or “beginning”; and Genesis truly is a book of origins, or beginnings. Genesis describes the beginning of man and the universe which he lives in and has been given dominion over, the beginning of sin, the beginning of God’s plan of redemption, and the beginning of the Hebrew nation through whom God’s redemption through the Messiah was to come.

Sunday evening study: Becoming a Contagious Christian

This is Sunday program for the third quarter of 2015. We have our regular Sunday morning service at 09h00, and starting at 6 September 2015, we are moving this 15 minutes later to 09h15.
