Emmanuel Church, Edenvale

Emmanuel Church is a Christian congregation in the Edenvale area, and a member of the CESA denomination, which is soon to be known as REACH South Africa.
Emmanuel is a Bible-based, Gospel-preaching, Reformed, Evangelical, Anglican, CHurch with a vision for the renewal of people's hearts, the renewal of the church, and the renewal of the community at large.
To this end we have six core values:
EXALTATION:
to promote true worship of God in all of life.
EVANGELISM:
to speak that others may be persuaded with God's help to put their hope and trust in Christ.
EDIFICATION:
to preach God's Word and learn to handle it correctly understanding that this is the primary way in which we are edified and built up in the faith.
EQUIPPING:
to train disciples for effective service in the church, the community and in the world.
EMPLOYING:
to encourage team ministry, comprising volunteers and full-time paid staff.
EXPORTING:
to be Christians with a global vision stretching beyond the borders of our church, denomination and land, not limited to missionary work but permeating all of society.
